CENTERBURG, OHIO. "MAIN STREET, CENTERBURG, OHIO" real photo mailed 1907, published by D. W. Short, writing on front, trivial corner wear. Prominent near the left is the entire front of the Jesse Spira Clothing store, next to a grocery. An interview published by the Columbus Jewish Historical Society puts the Spira's as the only Jewish family in Centerburg at the time, with the nature of their business uncertain. This postcard provides the answer. $27.00 ojgm

GREENFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS. "Main Street Looking West, Greenfield, Mass.--1 / 6B-H1793" as it looked in 1943, including a woodie parked near the Army & Navy Store; unused linen post card from C. W. Hughes & Company, trivial corner wear. $5.00 m(g)m

GROVEPORT, OHIO. "East on Main St. from M. E. Church / Groveport Ohio" as it looked in 1910, showing one residence that has since been demolished & a grocery in the distance (near the wagon) that has since burned down; sepia-tone proof for a post card with the caption that was eventually used written in hand on the back by the photographer Daniel Boone Carlock, who also noted the quantity ordered--25. Good focus & composition, as you would expect from a proof, paper browned a bit with age, small dark spot in sky from a drip of chemical when printed. 'Groveport' is also hand-written on the front, but the photographer underlined the Ohio in 'Groveport Ohio' on the back.
